Just got my cast off. I am going to start with this toe-towel grabbing exercise to restore foot flexibility. For the ankle, I will try extension and gentle rotation exercises. I need to restore flexibility before even starting to walk otherwise I could lose balance and fall over and fracture more bones.
Does it still hurts?
Ended up tickling my girlfriend’s feet! Distracted her from homework, this technique is not tickle friendly.
It wasn't that bad! I'm just ticklish. My homework will still get done. Great video!
True! Great video. Will try different foot massage technique.
I have this in my left calf, is it ok to try walking with stiff calf or its not, its not very painful anymore unlike the time i got an accident and got injured my soleus left calf is just stiff and i feel mild cramp my left calf looks normal even it has a tight soleus muscle i tried this technique and my right leg the non injured one can actually touch the wall with a knee with a flat feet, but in my injured one the left calf i cannot touch the wall with my knee without raising my heel it feel stiff and a little painful, i'm even afraid to try to walk because of the stiff sensation maybe i will collapsed from the tightness thats what i'm thinking, my injury occured 7 days ago last wednesday now its almost 8 days since my soleus got injured from now on the symtoms i felt is mild cramp and tightness in the soleus area so do you think i have a mild strain or moderate strain.
Dislocated both shoulders. Surgery on the right. (A year ago). Feels pretty good now just at 90% I’d say. Don’t need surgery on the left. Gonna do PT I’ll let yal know the difference in like 6 months.
Treatment? I have a rectus femoris tendon avulsion. My Dr said too late for surgery I need PT apparently.
My problem is right shoulder dislocation. And i never get dislocation at any time . Even i didnt go to hospital surgery also😂.
May Allah Grant all people a quick recovery from pain----Ameen
❤
Thank you brother
unfortunately the strips between the anchor taping tend to slip to the sides... :/
Nuce
i’m a dancer and i broke my 5th met. it’s been 4 weeks and im so close to walking on it without aid. hoping in another 2 weeks ill be good to go. the bone is healed at 4 weeks just ligament and tendon pain remain
the last exercise could be dangerous if someone will try to do that after cast removal? like in the case of 5th metatarsal fracture. quite scary
Well its usefull now
I needed that…didn’t know what the heck I was doing!
What do you do if the person you are massaging is ticklish?
use something to make them fall asleep 🗿
Good
My elbow hurts and i think its bc i streched it out while boxing in vr😢
Thanks
Hi Sports Injury Clinic. I recently had a minor injury to my right knee, which I suspect is the lateral ligament. I believe it was a strain (or sprain) and not a tear. I went to a local sports physiotherapy clinic where I live, and I purchased not only a knee brace, but strapping tape as well. Honestly, as annoying as strapping tape can be, I prefer the support that tape offers, over braces. Could this technique that you've shown us work with strapping tape? It's unfortunately all I have.
Can you please tell me exactly what type of Tape I need to purchase and also the width of the tape you used. This is a very helpful video and I need to strap my thumb. Thank you.
Barbie Syndrome at the very end.
If this is extremely painful does this mean it’s torn 😭
I’ve had hip impingement surgery and hip avulsion fracture surgery back in 2021, I did some physical therapy but my rectus femoris still seems to be weak. I’ve tried laser therapy, cupping and scrapping but it only gives me a temporary relief. It hurts when I sprint and squat. Left leg feels 100% and my right leg feels 70%.
How many reps and how many times a day please ?
Need to clean that foot 😂😂
Idk about the tip toes, can a rebuilt foot support all that weight?
Tip toes with a fractured metatarsal??? Not yet
I swear I've had so many aches and pains throughout the years and Dr UA-cam has always healed me
Her dirty ass feet
This taping technique has offered me more stability and comfort when doing ordinary (not training) walking while I wait for my appointment at the orthopedist's - so, thank you!
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped. Take care and best wishes for your appointment!
Thank you!@@SportsinjuryclinicNet
Good demonstration!
Glad you liked it!
Hello there I've a problem I've a ankle sprain since I woke up morning today, My pain is growing and growing help me out it's too hard to stand
What is the solution for this doctor
I think Osgood schlatter stunted my growth
Thank you! I sprained my finger during gym and have no idea if I should put it in a straight splint or keep it bent since it was less painful.
I would put it where you feel the least pain whilst it heals. As long as you do not have a complete tendon rupture as in www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/sport-injuries/wrist-pain/hand-finger-injuries/mallet-finger
I walk every single day on 8-9% incline. Like 4 hours . Recently been walking at the local track cause the weather has been cooler. Now I have this pain in front of my legs. Idk why . I don't know if I'm harming myself or if it's just due to the change of surface and all of that & will go as way. I had shin splints in the past snd took me forever to heal them. Don't wanna do that again.
Glad you kept it concise!
I try
Hi deck chu Ami cjvy ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
you guys in the comments are not rehabing properly if its takiung you a year to get your strength back
Is the person who is wraoped up able to walk with this or is this for like No Walking toye injuries. My tendon has been off and on hurting and i walk a lot at college and train BJJ so i cant not walk.
Hi, yes you can walk no problem with this. Its a good idea to walk as little as possible but the taping is designed to reduce strain on the Achilles as you walk.
Can we also add vertical strips towards the end too?
You literally answered all my questions. I have been searching the internet about repeated groin strain for a long time. Everyone talking about stretching and basic. I used to never get groin pain until I started going to the gym. My legs got stronger. And used to train groin muscles as well. But never stretch in the gym after and my range of motion decreased significantly. Thanks to you I know understand that my muscles got shorter and that is why i make so much more effort because i feel my muscles are tight when i run. I will work on stretching my legs muscles every day specially before and after I play football i will do more than 30 seconds each side stretch and realse and repeat then start other basic stretching exercises
What's this tape? Where do I get this from?
1.25cm Zinc oxide tape (non stretch). uk: www.upmedical.co.uk/products/zinc-oxide-tape-5m-roll-box-of-24
Thanks for the info I have pain there but i usually ignore it and just rest but never goes now I treat it thanks
GREAT ! Thank you :) Additional note - I just got mine. I placed it on the floor in front of my 5 drawer metal cabinet and I hold onto the 1st and 2nd drawer handles (wobble front and back / side to side) as I start to learn to do this.
Why do you keep pointing at the distal metatarsals on the subject when the injury is at the proximal end?
For example if patient get herniated disc between L3-L4 should I adjust exactly the vertebraes between which the hernia is?
Hello, can you show me exercises for coxarthrosis? I have hip wear and tear and pain. In general, is it possible to exercise during coxarthrosis?
If you’re still not cleared for sports don’t do this yet because you will just break your foot again
Yes these exercises are definitely not early stage. Make sure the fracture has completely healed and always follow your surgeons advice.
